Who is MSchnitzler2000?
My name is Markus Schnitzler. I'm 30 years old and I live in Düren, a city North Rhine-Westphalia. In 2005 I graduated from university as a Master of Arts (Magister Artium, MA). Unfortunately my education has not helped me to get a job, which I would prefer to have in journalism. I have combined my interests in texts and internet to create my website.

- who I am
A synopsis of my life can be found here as well as a survey of my occupational abilities, which no employer uses. Furthermore I show you my activities in the WWW and what I like most.
- what I write
As I want to work as a journalist, it goes without saying that I like to write a lot. Samples of my art are the daily articles here on my website, my monthly magazine "Kein Blatt" and the texts I published in other online magazines.
- how I contribute to a better world
I'm not a millionaire, but I like to help poor people, e.g. with blood donations or financial support. Everybody can take part in such acts of charity. That is also true for the distribution of free knowledge in the encyclopedia Wikipedia.
- that I love sports and music
As active supporter of the Bundesliga team evivo Düren I am very interested in volleyball, a sport which deserves more attention. My number one football club is Schalke 04 and in music no one can escape Stefanie Heinzmann, the lovely Swiss with the hammer voice.
- what I collect
My books fill several shelf. I have seen many films in cinema and TV. Informative websites are beautiful quotations are always useful. In my databases I present the best of literature, film and the WWW as well as the best bon mots.
- that I'm up-to-date
Thanks to modern communication we come to know news not only from the neighbourhood. On my news page I deliver headlines from my home and the whole world. In addition I show you the weather forecast.
- that I have a lot of fun
Whether it is a funny document from the internet, an event presented by the best TV entertainer Stefan Raab, a happy evening with skittles or the carnival with the "Kaateclub Fleischlose" - there are enough reasons to live with a smile on the face.
- that I look beyond the border
The internet is a product of globalisation. Speaking several languages is a clear advantage in the modern world. As I have studied this human phenomenon, I give you a plain introduction. Furthermore I show you the foreign places which I already visited or would like to see.

Chances in September
After being absent here for several days, now I don't want to offer a retrospective or summarise the events of the last days, but I want to take a look into the new future. In the remaining days of September there are some events which offer important chances.
One of the topics which I talked about lately, is again up-to-date now. Not only because the female under-17 team of the German football association is looking forward to win the World Championship like their older colleagues of the under-20 team did some weeks ago. At the 15th September, new tickets for the great football women's world championship in summer 2011 will be on sale. Attractive, high-quality football in front of your own door - you should not miss this.
The same applies to the last performances of another successful young lady in this year. Stefanie Heinzmann's festival tour will end in this month with concerts in Hildesheim and Siegen. Then she will go to the studio to delight her fans with the third album.
I want to become more active than in the last weeks concerning writing. There are a lot of tasks to fulfil here on my website and in the Wikipedia. The audience always demands new information and content. It shall have them.
