ReligionAfter my birth I was baptized on December 2, 1979 in the catholic church St. Cyriakus in Düren-Niederau. About ten years later I celebrated my first Communion there. As the last sacrament so far, I was confirmed.I had to make a "vitally important" decision in 1999, when I resisted a career at the German armed forces und so was committed to civilian service. I fulfilled this duty from August 2, 1999 to June 30, 2000 in the Hermann-Koch-Seniorenzentrum, an old people's home run by the Arbeiterwohlfahrt at Weyerfeld in Düren. EducationAfter several years of education by my parents I came to school. I got the first four years of my education from 1986 to 1990 in the catholic primary school in Düren-Niederau. Then I went to the Burgau-Gymnasium in Düren and after all in all 13 years in school I received my Abitur certificate. (By the way: if you are not familiar with the German schools, you could read this article)In October 2000 I continued my education with my studies at the University of Cologne. I studied German and English philology as well as general linguistics. After my final exam I may now use the academic title Magister Artium. With these qualification I'm now still looking for a job.
